Poler Tarım is an agricultural company that was established in 1999 by Vedat Polat in Şanlıurfa with a few of his friends while he was an university student. Our head office is still in Şanlıurfa, and in the agricultural sector operates and provides services throughout the country.
In the early 2000s, with the growth of irrigated agriculture areas in the region, Poler Tarım started to grow Corn seeds first in the region foreseeing the growth that will occur in the sector. It played an important role in the region introducing the Corn agriculture to the farmers and establishing Corn agriculture. On this wise, Poler Tarım's dedicated efforts and innovative way of thinking in the field caught attention of Monsanto, and in 2005, their business partnership started as Monsanto Regional Distributor.

Poler Tarım has become the market leader in its region in a short time with the method of demand generation among farmers through agricultural engineers. This growth of Monsanto with Poler Tarım became a Role Model in Monsanto's operations in other regions of Turkey, and subsequently, in a short time Monsanto achieved a significant growth in the Turkish market with this model implemented in other regions of Turkey.
Poler Tarım continued to grow in commercial life, which started with corn seed production, by adding in time business lines such as Crop Protection Products, Next Gen adn Micro Granular Fertilizers, Plant Growth Regulators, Wheat Seed Production, Grain and Oily Seeds Trade, Licensed Grain Warehouse And Foreign Trade etc. And still continues to grower. In terms of agricultural inputs, it is currently the distributor of companies such as Bayer Tarım, Monsanto Dekalb Corn Seeds, Valagro Fertilizer, Astranova-Astrachem, MDT-Greentech.
And As well, Poler Tarım has not only focused on commercial growth, but also started its R&D activities with the social awareness of adding value to agriculture as a "Private Agricultural Research Organization" obtaining the necessary legal approvals from the Ministry of Agriculture in 2021.
As of today, Poler Tarım continues its activities increasing its Trade Volume and Investments day by day with its facilities in Şanlıurfa and Mardin provinces and its staff that are capable of carrying out agricultural and trading operations in many regions of Turkey.
